This technique reduces length of surgery, improves cosmesis and reduces postoperative pain and numbness and has become widely used. This study assessed the long‐term outcomes, median follow up 69 months (range 27‐80 months), of this surgical method in 97 adult cases in 85 patients. Fixture failure rate was 7.2% and adverse soft tissues reactions were recorded for 3.9% of clinical interactions.
