Endoscopic resection of glomangiopericytoma in 4 patients: A case series and literature review

Abstract

Glomangiopericytoma is a rare, site specific tumor arising in the sinonasal tract with borderline malignant potential.

Angiography with pre‐operative embolization might be indicated for large or vascular tumors to reduce operative blood loss and aid the safety of surgical operation.

Complete surgical excision with free resection margin is the mainstay of treatment.

Surgical excision with endoscopic endonasal approach is feasible and preferred for patients with this tumor.

Prognosis is excellent after complete surgical excision.
