Atopic dermatitis has markedly increased in western countries and has been investigated with respect to the relationship between environmental factors and the human immune system [1,2]. Allergic diseases could be driven by in response to environmental or food antigens [2]; however, the mechanisms are not clearly understood. Recently, one of the more interesting studies investigating intestinal microbiota reported that commensal bacteria and their metabolites interact with the development of the immune system.
