Thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP), a paralog of Interleukin (IL)-7, is involved in inflammatory skin disorders, such as atopic dermatitis and psoriasis. TSLP activates dendritic cells to produce Th2 chemokines and is highly expressed in the epithelium in the skin of patients with atopic dermatitis [1].
